Reception Admissions!

We’d love to welcome to you Whitehill Community Academy. If you’d like to tour our academy, contact us to book a time that suits you.

The deadline for applying for a place for your child for Reception Class is  generally in mid-January of the academic year prior to when they are due to start. Applications need to be completed through the Local Authority’s Primary Admissions portal. Further information about this can be found at: Calderdale Primary Admissions.

If you are considering including Whitehill as one of your chosen schools, you are very welcome to visit the school to meet with the school team and have an option of a school tour. Look out for our open evenings or get in touch directly if you would like to visit.

In Year Admissions

For all in-year admissions please contact the school office at Whitehill Community Academy directly. Since September 2013, academies can accept in-year admission applications directly from parents. An in-year admission application is one that is made outside of the normal time of transfer between schools, for example when a family moves to a new house part way through a school year.
